Ebay python led bar
When I was doing my Amazon special search, I contacted auxbeam and they said they warranty their light bars from Amazon for a year I think. So usually in the first brushless car wash you'll find out if you have the cheap condensation issue. If you have it, take the end caps off, slide the glass out, completely dry it (and I mean at minimum a week), reseal and install.
Black Thunder, I agree with you 100%, I could never justify spending a grand + on a Rigid bar, reguardless of quality, they are way way overpriced. My friend's dad works in the woods and put a cheapy 30" bar on the front of his Ram, it's a great light, he got extremely lucky and found a 50% off sale one day and pulled the trigger on it... $80 US. I tried to get one and missed the sale by a few hours... I wish he had of bout 2 or 20 lol I'm happy with my 4 Rigid Duallys in the front, the knock offs provide more than enough light for backing up.... work great for anyone tailgaiting me or driving behind me with hi-beams still on..... flick of the switch and the have 2 bright white suns in their eyes.... they get the hint quickly. When I do get a 20-30" bar, it will be an off brand..... money talks...... and mine says goodbye enough as it is....
If you're racing off-road at high speeds like Baja or Paris to Dakar then you get what you pay for and Rigid is at the top of the game!
I have yet see anyone on here that "needed" a Rigid light but.......
Keep in mind you are also paying for a way nicer constructs bar and wire harness along with great customer service in the US!
Let's get it straight, they aren't over priced they meet a certain price point that the average user doesn't need!

as for quality, I think the knockoffs only seem to have inferior led ( less lumens) as for te lense and the aluminum housing, i i was to grind the rigid name off, you can not tell the differance, even the fins are spaced the same distance, and exact same wire harnes, less the water proof switch that comes with the Rigids. As for being made in the US, that's meaningless to me, I'm Canadian, would rather see them made here, but that will never happen.... they will al be made in China or Mexico before long anyways.
well, technically speaking, I do need them, not on my truck so much as I do at work, all 17 of our Big Cat loaders gets 8 rigid dually d2 when it's bought, 2 high up on the cab at the back and 2 down low on the counterweight, then 2 up high on the front of the cab and 2 down low beside the factory headlights. we work in mining, and I operate one of these night and day, with stock lighting, you cant see through the steam and vapor comming off the ore at night as it oxidizes. as for quality, I think the knockoffs only seem to have inferior led ( less lumens) as for te lense and the aluminum housing, i i was to grind the rigid name off, you can not tell the differance, even the fins are spaced the same distance, and exact same wire harnes, less the water proof switch that comes with the Rigids. As to the quality, I'll disagree. I've had rigid and just picked up a Chinese bar and can tell you from experience there is night and day in quality of everything. The harnesses are not the same, the RI ones have nice Duetch connectors whereas the Chinese one has basic spade connections. RI are soldered and Chinese are crimped. Although the housings look similar they are machined different and most likely different aluminum. Tempered glass vs polycarbonate, goretex vents vs who knows.
As to made in USA, it does matter no matter where you're located. You get actual customer service vs none!
I think the duallys are great but when stepping up to bars for the trucks, Chinese is fine. The 20" I just added is awesome for the price.

we use an ungodly amount of Rigid Dually D2's at work, not just on the loaders, but all the dump trucks have a set mounted to the back edge of the steps by the fuel tank, and a set up front for driving lights. our mechanics even turfed the halogen unit that was on thier motorized swivel work lights around the truck and built brackets to mount a singe D2 on each one.... kinda neat to see a D2 pan and tilt at the touch of a switch. I would love to know how much they have spent on just the lights alone... it's crazy. there are probably 30 unopened boxes setting on a pallet in the stock room...... would love to wheel that out to my truck lol
I can vouch for Rgds toughness, today, while loading a truck from a stockpile comming directly off the belt from the crusher, a roughly soccer ball chunk of roe rolled down the pile, hit the top of my bucket and struck the D@ with sniper percision... I was shore it had to have cracked it... a piece of ore like that weighs in the 50-60 lb range.
finished the truck, got out and looked, not a scratch, dented the fender a little but the D2 was flawless.
