Default EB exhaust question

Last week I bought a Flo pro exhaust and got a free twister resonator from 5 star for a sweet price. After tig welding on the resonator on and installing the exhaust I have to admit I thought it sounded like crap. After being on a week it sounds like the tone has gotten much deeper and also seems to have quieted down at lower rpms. The sound now is much better to me. My question is did the exhaust sound actually change or did I just get used to the sound? Thanks jason

Hard to say, but I was hypersensitive when I first installed my Full-Race exhaust because I was afraid my wife would hate it and we were about to leave on a 30 day towing trip. It seemed a little loud early on, but purrs quietly now. I think we both reacted to the change.

Prob both. It prob did change the tone a bit, and over the past week you've gotten used to it as well. My exhaust did the same thing after about a week or so of putting some miles on it, it seemed to deepen up a bit.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if it was my imagination or not. After owning v8's all my life it took some getting used to. I do notice an increase in torque climbing steep hills so its all good.

Do you still have your stock one? I am looking for a stock muffler (well the last piece that sticks out) So I can get it ceramic coated black and then just swap with mine.

Your exhaust sound will change after some miles and carbon build-up. My solo mach-x has mellowed out more and gotten A LOT deeper...

I know this is hard to believe but I had it idling in a parking lot at TSC the other day (my wife thinks I don't take as long if she stays in the truck)...came outside and there was a dodge ram next to my truck and I was like...man that truck sounds good, got closer and realized that it was MY truck, lol.

At WOT throttle is still sounds like an ecoboost, good but very very different...at idle it sounds awesome.
