Exactly, people are quick to call a vehicle useless. I guess he never thinks about how awd cars do it in the snow. Lower than a truck but are still driven in snow and ice. I luckily have the ELD rearend on my 2wd so I can actually drive through my yard when it is wet and not worry about the whole 1 tire fire thing lol. I am about to change my gears out from 3.31 to 3.73 as well.

lowering a 4wd reduces approach and departure angles from the stock capabilities.

that's how lowering a 4wd reduces the stock capabilities, and why I specified 4wd.

It's omly been stuck once and that was this last winter when I had a 22' trailer on and got it high centered on a large frozen drift. I could have yanked it off had my tries not been on ice. I pulled the UPS man out of my driveway on Christmas Eve a couple months ago during heavy snow. There not as worthless as people think. My old lifted 08 with mud terrains was stuck many more times than my current truck.
if you'd read my posts you'd understand them.

im not talking lifted vs lowered, but lifted 4/2wd vs lifted/lowered 4/2wd.

lifting a truck 2 or 4wd makes the bed less accessible, and lowering a 4wd reduces its "off road prowess".

not playing lifted/lowered hate game, but suggesting that one's mods compliment the factory configuration. lowering a 2wd is more acceptable to me than lowering a 4wd. same situation with lifting a 4wd vs a 2wd. I don't live in an area that snows any more than once every 20 years.

In all reality if it has wheels and or a motor I'm in. I like them lifted, lowered l, and stock. Well not often stock. I can appreciate anything someone is passionate about and has put there touch on.

my feelings exactly. Even if it isn't my cup of tea, I can appreciate someone's commitment to personalizing, or enhancing their vehicle. I'm not a fan of stock either, but I get the ppl who use their vehicles for their true intentions, which is transportation.
