Default Drivers Side HID Quit Working...

I have a 2013 f150 with the oem HIDS equipped. I have installed some morimoto 5500K HIDS to better match the xb fogs I bought from the as well. The first set worked for about a month before they started flickering. Installed the oem ones and had zero issues. Got replacements for the 5500k and they worked great for about a week and now the drivers side went out completely. I installed the oem ones again and still not turning on. I checked the fuses and none are blown. I figured the ballast went bad so I bought a used oem one off eBay for pretty cheap. Hope this fixes my problem.

Is there any other fuses that need to be checked besides the one under the hood? Couldn't find much in the manual.

did you try switching the ballast from side to side to see if the problem follows?

did you check the fuse with a multimeter or just visually look at it ... sometimes they look fine but are actually blown.

It's been pouring rain non stop all day so I haven't had any chance to really look into the issue. I should be getting the "new" ballast on Tuesday and the rain should subside by then so I'll plug it in and see if it fixes it. If not I'm gonna dig a little deeper.

Factory installed HIDs right? Not installed at a later date with the Morimoto harness?

For what it's worth, it's likely a ballast issue, but the Osram CBIs are damn near a perfect match for LED fogs.

Yup factory hid headlights.
The morimoto xb fogs I bought are actually 5500k and when compared to the oem hid color (4300k) they are visibly whiter. I also have pretty bad ocd so even the slightest shade off will make me go crazy... I looked into the 5500k osram bulbs, but at $200 it's a bit out of my budget..

Turns out it was a bad ballast. got the new one in the mail today and it fired right up.
However.....I ordered a used OEM Osram Ballast from this ebay seller, but i received a new NON-OEM ballast instead. it works fine, but im curious on how long it will last...

here's the one i actually received.

looks like an Osram label but different. I'm guessing it's probably a fake osram ballast because of:

1) the way too low price
2) the fact that the label is missing the "OSRAM" label (even though it says made in italy like Osram ballasts)
3) that it's coming from los angeles, which means it probably came from China.

Here's what Osram should look like:
