My driver side actuator went out a few weeks ago and I just got it repaired last week. The local dealership worked with me and reduced their labor rate for me so it wouldn't hit the wallet as hard. All in all I'm happy to have heat again.

It's still covered under the 12 month CPO warranty. Didn't have to tap into, the extended warranty.

I did have to raise a bit of a stink with our 2011 Mustang GT/CS convertible that I bought a couple of months ago as a CPO.

The passenger power seat was making a God awful sound and then would stop working. I took the Mustang and the truck in at the same time. Got the call today (shortly after the call on the truck) that the issue was with the seat track. Cost would've been $600, but they would split the cost with me.

I reminded them I had the car less than 6 weeks (with less than 700 miles on it during that time) and that it should be covered under the CPO warranty. The SM said that it only applied to the powertrain. I told him to check again as it should be covered.

I then called the guy who sold me the car (who also sold me the truck earlier this year). He immediately told me that I was covered under the 12 month/12K mile CPO warranty. He went on to say that normally there is a $100 deductible, but they would waive it.

Got the call from the dealer. It is fixed. My out of pocket expense is $100 for the deductible. Not sure if they charged it under the CPO or the aftermarket warranty. Either way I don't care given what the out of pocket costs would have been if it not for either warranty.

The service manager said that it would have been covered under either.

On my way to pick it up.
