Default Drivers mirror reflectioned yellowed

on my new to me 2010 f150 the drivers mirror is yellow not silver reflective. there is a 1/4 inch border of the normal mirror but everything on the inside is a bronze /yellow. it is hard to see out of. is it the heated mirror or the auto dimming doing this. should I just replace it (glass only) ?

I'd guess it's the autodimming that is screwed up. Is your light on inside your truck? I know if my dome is on it tints my mirrors for me.

The sensor is in the rear view mirror somewhere.

Only the driver side is auto-dimming. Are you looking at this in the sun or a light source behind you?
I know if its bright for any reason it will dim.

Check the reflector fluid reservoir. They tend to leak down after a while. ; /

Seriously though, are you in a cold climate ? I've heard of the heaters skrew'n up the film between the glass and the effect is a yellowing. There actually is a sealed fluid encapsulated between the layers of the mirror glass on heated mirrors.
