Default Drafting Semis

I knew riding behind a semi improved mileage, but this is insane! I started at 34 and it averaged out around 30.

Not a bad deal if you don't mind going 65 on the interstate.

How many car lengths back to stay in the draft?

I may try it once I get the paint protection film on. Maybe tearaways for the windshield, lol

You're an idiot. Aside from the grease, oil, and road debris pelting the front of your vehicle, you're going to cause an accident. I hope some truck driver slams his brakes on and stuffs you under his trailer.

Normal distances, not tailgating.

Your full of ****. If you're close enough to draft...you're tailgating. Any further back and you're fighting his tail wind. Do every motorist on the road a favor and don't start retarded threads like this that make other morans like you pull even more crazy crap on the road.

I learned about tailgating trucks I was on my yamaha xs650 heading into a brutal headwind on a 100 degree august day. Had two trucks side by side on the interstate so while waiting for the left lane to free up I snuck up close to the right lane truck to catch a small break from the wind.

To my horror I realized too late it was a livestock transport. A nice little heifer covered me from head to foot in pee and poop. I'm just was thankful that I had a shield on my helmet that day. Just nasty, fiancée thought it was hilarious
