Can someone tell me if air is supposed to come out of this door vent? I am assuming so, but nothing comes out of mine no matter what setting or blower speed its on. Please help!

 

Should work on defrost. Maybe the duct work to it came off.

 

^ This... Only time when air should be coming from that vent, is when Front Defroster is On!

 

When the door is open, you'll see a hole in the side panel of the dash and a corresponding hole in the door with a rubber seal. When door is closed and set on defrost, some of the air is diverted out that hole and through the door. It's not a lot of air, but you should feel it if fan is on high.

 

With defrost on high there is a pretty decent stream of warm air that comes out of that vent on my 2012………….

 

Thanks everyone. On my 2010 there is nothing coming out of it. I'll have to do some further investigating as to why nothing comes out.

 

Works on my 2010. :/ Maybe some duct work rattled loose...

 

Mine works on the floor setting.

 

Mine works as explained in the manual--all setting except dash only.

 

How can some work on defrost and some on floor, the some on all settings?
