Default Door hinge dent on my door.

I have a 10 F150 screw. If you look at the drivers side door about 6 inches up from the bottom you can see 2 small dings in the edge of the door. With this being a new truck im not too happy about that. Looks like the door is allowed to open too far and the door actually hits on the hinge where it mounts to the truck. Just curious if this would be a Warranty issue or do i just have to live with it.

Same here, pretty sure it happened when wind caught my door. If they would have put better increment stops it would be better. I was pissed at first but they are barely noticable now.

Im going to contact the dealership and see if there is anything they can do about it. I know it is not a big ding but i still dont like it. Sounds like i am not the only one with the problem so you would think it would be something Ford will address.

Same thing with mine. Noticed the door latch seemed to be dragging, so I took it in. Was told the wind must have caught it. Checked the passenger side and there is about 1/2 in before contact. Want to get it fix under warranty?

Same thing happened to my passenger door when the wind caught it. I was pissed at my passenger for not controlling the door when it happened but what good does that do? It didn't close just right after that so I took it to the body shop at the dealer and they re-aligned it for free. Took 5 min. I would recommend putting some touch up paint on the dings if there is exposed metal at the dings to prevent rust.
