Can you or can you NOT make these work on our late model trucks? I need one for when I go dirt biking.

Wish I knew the answer to that for ya man. But the one for our body shouldn't be too expensive? It came with my truck so I don't know lol. Never used it but once

I'm not sure if this would work for you, but I use my folding ramp as a bed extender. Next time I go I'll take a picture of it. It doesn't give you quite as much room as a true bed extender but close. We can easily get two 450's and all of our gear in the bed, including a cooler, easy up, and a couple chairs.

It works perfect. I bought one off craigslist for my 2011 FX4.

Looking at a lot of other f-150 threads where guys say they fasten right on to the tail gate studs of the 2013's. The oldest I found was swapped from a 2004 F-150, but it looks just like that one.

The one you bought looks like it's for a 2004-2008 truck, kev's link is for a 2000-2003 one which I believe will not work.

After looking at them closer they do look a bit different. The one he is looking at looks smaller.

And yeah mine is from a 2005 F-150.
