Default Dog divider

I have an Screw and am looking for dog barrier between the back of the cab and the front seats. My 9 month old retriever that has gotten big (57lbs) and realized he can jump over the center console. I want to get something that keeps him in the back when I leave him alone and have yet find something. What do you guys use? Ideas?

You don't have the 3rd middle seat in the front?

I have put up the center console and he still can jump over it somehow. I thought by doing that with the back seats raised up would be a sure fix....but not, still in front seat when I get back to truck.

Wait till he starts chewing on your seats when he's bored.

I put my younger dogs in crates. They can ride in the front with me/passenger rear while I am in the truck, but if I am going to leave them for a bit then they need to go in the crate.
Haven't used any of these, but a quick web search

I've tried the seatbelt thing before with some success. Don't seem to need it any longer.

I went with a leer canopy. My dog chews when shes bored and would destroy the interior of the truck out of spite if left alone.

I usually tie a leash to the child seat hooks. It keeps my dogs from jumping out before I'm ready for them. Just use a short enough leash to keep him in the back

THey also make leashes that buckle into the seatbelts. I used one with my awesome 6 year old Boxer before he passed :/

Pay attention on Craigs list or even call your local canopy dealer(s). Canopies loose their value so fast it's pathetic.
I bet you could pick up a decent one for a couple hundred bucks. Numerous times I've even seen them 'free' as long as you come and get it, but most of those have had broken out windows/other.

I too have a Century canopy. Most canopy companies including Leer & Century are owned by TAG.

*One more thing is you might be able to put a cable/rope/string between the drivers & passengers head rest with the center seat up to prevent him from pushing it down. I assume he's actually not jumping it, but pushing it down and then climbing in the front.
