Default Doesn't start

So my 2011 xlt with 5.0 has been given me issues with not wanting to start. As soon as I insert the key in the ignition I hear a rapid clicking sound coming from the engine compartment. It sound appears to come from the TB area. Nothing happens once I turn the key to start. BUT if I disconnect the battery for 10sec or so the truck will start and continue to start fine for around 5-10 starting cycles (not consecutively) then it's right back to not starting. I wonder if it has to do with anti-theft system? What can I do to remedy this issue?

I do have an aftermarket stereo (pioneer) but I installed that months ago before this issue develop

If you hear the clicking from the throttle body area try starting by going on YouTube and looking up the procedure for a throttle body reset usually pretty easy. But do you hear clicking from the starter as well?

Thanks for the info. I'll look into that.
no, nothing else happens. No other clicking from the starter or anywhere else. The batter is new optima red top. Although a couple times it happened I was able to get the engine to turn over briefly by holding the key forward in the starting position for a short period of time, It obviously wouldn't start and it didn't sound like it would.. no spark maybe.
is it possible a sensor on the TB is bad and can cause this?

If you hear no clicking from the starter either than you probably need one

Thank you all for the help. Apparently I wont have to worry about figuring out the starting issue at this time. My truck was stolen Saturday night early sunday morning.
