Let me be the first to say...No one can say for sure. To many variables to argue on both sides. Any modifications could void the warrenty. But probably not...

Depends on what your trying to claim...if you take your truck in to try and get them to replace a bad CV shaft...they will tell you to pack sand...if its not front suspension related your good to go...for instance..i have a level installed and took it in for a bad idler pulley..fix it no questions asked...same for the reverse sensor that went out.

Simple answer is YES. Read your warranty card. ANY mods are subject to voiding warranty. Will they is the big question. When you Mod you assume that going into it. I don't want to hear the dealer has to prove the mod caused the problem..They say denied and then you go to go find a lawyer..yeah right. Just be prepared.

Check out the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Link -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnuso...s_Warranty_Act They can only void your warranty if they can prove that the aftermarket part you added made the factory part fail. So like some already said, if you add a leveling kit, they cannot deny warranty to fix the Air conditioning or whatever.

Have the dealership do the level. No issues.

I had most of my Mods done by my dealer and they used a custom shop......

They told me if I wanted suspension mods lift kit or related items to find a dealer that did Mods and they even gave me a dealers name to go to......That did Ford racing Parts.

So far no issue's and I just had some TSB's done for Trans & Rear End and some other stuff done.....only cost me 40.00 for car rental

I have 3" leveling kit and 34" tires

I'm getting a new truck hopefully this week and I asked the sales manager the same question. He said it shouldn't void the warranty if I have a random shop install a levering kit.
They said they do it there and go see parts dept for a price.
It's $680 total for the kit, labor, and alignment.

That's way too expensive for me.
This is the kit the Tucson dealers use, don't know about other dealers.

My Pro Comp 3" leveling kit was 116.99
2.5" blocks & ubolts were 60.00
labour was 1.5 hours 150.00
alignment was 75.00

these are Canadian price's so cheaper in the USA

It's not cheaper if something goes wrong and they Void your warranty, my truck just spent 4 days in the shop and cost me 40.00 no hassels at all....not like I see some are having who either did it themselves or took to a private shop the dealer does not use.....Id look at the the long road not the short one that could come back to bite you!!.......LOL

Cheers

GRant
