Do steering buttons light up?

Default Do steering buttons light up?
Hi,
i have buttons on both sides of the airbag/horn that do not light up when lights are on..
got me thinking if they are suppose to ligh up...

any ideas??

Take it in, might be a bad fuse/relay/connection, they are supposed to light up, unless you dimmer is all the way down, does the rest of the dash seem to be low lit too?

I will look into that by checking fuses, etc. Before I involve the dealership.

What model?

I have an STX and mine didn't light up, I recently swapped in a leather wrapped wheel from a 2011 XLT and now they light up. It was all plug and play as I didn't do anything with fuses or relays.

This leads me to believe it's model specific.
