Yea I've been reading about problems with the current generation of 5.0s and I really wouldn't want an eco. If ford ever dropped a v8 option I would probably look at toyota or chevy. Dodge... hell would have to freeze over, I had a very bad continual experience with a 09' dakota.

I’d go f250 to get the 7.3 gasser or a used one with the 6.2.

And then, of course, you'll want the power steps.

still cant figure out what I want to do. I really dont feel like I'm getting a good deal and honestly, I'm not sure I can justify the $46k price tag when mine will be paid off next June.

not going to lie, I think I may just stick with what I have. the most confusing part of this ordeal is that my wife is on board the raptor train, fully expected her to say no lol

There is a guy that comes into the Local Ford Store to get the oil change done on his F350 with the 6.7 in it and his wife is right there with her 2012 Raptor having the service done on it, so maybe your wife wants the Raptor

A paid for truck is a beautiful thing. That is a hard call that price tag would have to come down for me and I would try and Private party sell my truck to get more down, unless you cant fetch more then you offset in taxes if that applies in your state then just trade it in.

i'm seriously torn. i'm good for $20k down (including my trade) so i'd only be financing 26. i could pick up a mustang next year for less and still have my truck for a daily. i'm usually pretty decisive but seriously cant make this one

After seeing the cost..it would be extremely hard for myself to justify financing another 26k to have a Raptor when your truck is paid off..
