My 07 was a scab.. after towing my trailer 800 miles round trip to a race with my girlfriend in the back seat I bought a screw a month later... The scab is great around town but for road trips or just hauling gear the screw is worth the money...

I was looking at a Lariet too but then I decided to get the FX4 and upgrade the seats to leather, add the Sony Nav and I'm very pleased with my selection. We did compare it to a Lariet and decided we preferred the FX trim to the woodgrain Lariet trim. The Lariet is a great package but compare it to an upgraded FX4 before you decide.

SCab works for me. Just me, swmbo and the dog. When needed it has plenty of room in the back for passengers. 6.5' bed is what I had to have and the SCrew/6.5' bed won't fit in the garage. Now if I had a couple kids, SCrew for sure (and a garage extension).
Plenty of room (drivers seat is all the way back).

I like both cabs but it depends on what your going to use it for. I bought the supercab because I have no kids and rarely have anyone in my backseat. The main reason i bought the supercab was price. Had I bought the Screw my truck would have been 40k. I couldn't spend that much money and wanted to make sure i got other features that were more important to me. I also liked keeping the length of the truck shorter while still getting a 6.5 foot bed. If i had children I would absolutely get a super crew cab. Even if i didn't have kids my next truck will be a super crew. The reason is simply because of parking spots. It is very hard to put something in the back seat when your parked next to someone if you have a supercab. Please keep this in mind! Either choice will be good but if you can afford the difference or need it, buy the Screw.

Screw... Last weekend it was me and 4 scouts + all the camping gear for us + gear for boys riding in cars. Everyone was comfortable...including the older scouts over 6'. If you don't need this kinda room, save some money and get the scab. I settled for the 5'6" bed...wanted 6'6" but couldn't find one locally with EB that wasn't gray or brown. Good luck.

Wheelbase is the same. I was shopping for a EXcab and bought the SCREW after driving one. Same as others.... do you want the room inside or out? I don't need a huge backset, but man, you can put a lot of stuff back there... it's huge... and when you do take the fat Thimble Twins to the donut shop, they can ride back there and giggle and whatnot and ... well, you get the idea. Good luck. No difference in mpg I would think... and probably easier to find model/trim in a screw that you want than a excab.. ??

I would assume a supercrew would hold it's value better? I knew by getting a supercab the resale value would drop significantly but I don't plan on selling my truck. I know I'll be happy with it for many years to come.
