The seats in the F150 are not real leather anyway, it is all man made, with the exception of the older King Ranch trucks. My seats look great, truck is only 4 yrs old but look great so far.
I'm not positive but I thought the seats in my 12 platinum were real leather,And Iv always used Lexol without issue. Can someone(anyone) confirm if the 12 platinum is real leather or not.

I disagree with the post above this. There are leather surfaces in the non-KR seats, and there are vinyl surfaces as well. Just look closely. The vinyl has a perfect grain pattern, the leather does not. Now, you may claim it's not "real" leather because it's coated or bonded or whatever the hell they do, but that's splitting hairs. If you want to go down that road, then NO cars have real leather except for a few model years of KR F150s. If the substrate is dead cow skin, it's leather IMO, no matter what they do to it for the final finish or color.

If what I am working on with my seats is any indicator, I'm pretty sure it's bonded leather.

I've been working on scrubbing the seats but I've apparently sprained my hand and developed carpal tunnel, so it's got going very quickly. Lots of activities this weekend with the kids, so I'll try to get back to it later next week.

I'm trying to make a short YouTube video of the whole process so I can see the entire process when I'm done and hopefully learn something in the process.

I'd give to folks at Colorbond a call and discuss your issues and desires.

I saw this last month and bought a small jar from Amazon, and it works. I topped it with a coat of leather honey after the polish set in to protect it.
