How's she goin' eh?
I don't know how I'd feel about putting paint on my seats. It looks good, but you can still see cracks tho.

I don't think I would paint my seats either but they did come out pretty good. Unless you have the sections that are cracked replaced, you will not get rid of the cracks. Best bet would be to stop by and interior shop and see if they can replace the cracked section. I have a glass shop that has a upholstery guy that can get leather that matches color perfect. The grain may be slightly different but unless you know it was replaced, you'd never notice.

I gave the areas I scrubbed a once-over with some Leather CPR I had from cleaning my steering wheel, which I just realized is probably the same process I need to bring this leather back.
I'll see how it goes in the morning after it's soaked in a bit, and if it looks good I'll start the cleaning process on the passenger seat where I started and see if I can at least get down to the bare leather and start from there.
My steering wheel was horrible and I managed to bring it back quite nicely, so at this point I am hopeful about my seats.
If any of the seat is totally beyond bringing back I think I'll definitely take it to an upholsterer.
I suppose if all else fails I could just have all of the seats recovered, but who wants to pay like $6,500 for all new leather?

When was the last time you cleaned your seats? I have a 2013 KR and honestly, the spot that you cleaned and it turned red is close to the color I have on my seat, and I regularly maintain and clean my seats. I don't know if there was a difference in color between a 13+ KR and an older (but same generation) KR.
