Diagnosis help / 5.0 problem
2011 Screw XLT 5.0, built 6-8-11 in Dearborn.
Background:
Had TSB 11-9-17 done last fall dealing with shudder/vibration on moderate to hard acceleration. Since having the TSB completed, truck rarely does it.
A week ago had TSB 11-11-6 done. When making tight turns or driving slow, vehicle was exhibiting a shudder/vibration. So this TSB took apart the rear axle and replaced the powered axle assembly.
Current ongoing issue:
The truck feels like it is "missing" while driving. Been going on for about a month. If I am coasting in 2nd gear the rpms are around 1000 and it feels like the truck wants to stall. It doesn't, but that is the feeling. That feeling does not go away in higher gears or speeds.
I mentioned this last night in another thread and someone said it might be the shift strategy that is messed up. (I did not want to hijack the OPs thread so I started a new one.) I was told if its the shift strategy, Ford will not fix it.
Does what I describe sound like anything else? I know I am not doing the problem justice with how I am describing it. But you all can tell when something isn't right with your truck and I know something is off with mine. Before I go back to the dealer again, I am hoping to have some suggestions on what the problem is so I don't sound like a bumbling idiot.

I have a similar problem when cruising at 70 mph with the cruise set. feels like it is missing or jumping around. I don't have the problem when I am pulling anything mostly empty. feels either like the engine or the tranny. my little gas gauge will pop up and down when it happens to.
bryan, I don't know if mine is the same. But, a couple of times when I make a slow turn it feels like the engine just died away. I can let completely off the gas pedal, then reapply a little gas and it picks back up. Is this kinda what yours is doing?
I haven't had it looked at because I know all to well the drill of "cannot duplicate" the problem, so everything is fine.

I haven't noticed gas gauge movement, but I wasn't looking at that. I started watching the rpms hoping they would start fluctuating and I could point that out for the dealer but no luck.
Did you take your truck to the dealer? If so, what did they say?
