Delete Entire Sync Jukebox?
The previous owner or owners left me with almost 1000 tracks from their wonderful taste in music. Is there a way I can delete the entire jukebox at once? I figured out how to do it by song or by artist but not delete all.
Thanks
Thanks
It's an internal HD...it's about 10GB....my 2012 has one as well.
As for deleting it all at once, I have no idea. I believe you can delete by artist which would help if they had a lot of songs by the same artist.
Otherwise I don't know that you can just wipe the HD clean

There is not a mass delete option, confirmed by my dealership's Sync guru when I recently had to have the Sync reflashed in my 2012 Lariat. I went ahead and deleted most of the 850 songs on mine by artist/album. Only silver lining was that I kept about a hundred of them I liked. Also found out it takes over twice as long to upload new CDs as the owners manual says.

The owners manual says it should hold almost 2500 songs. First step - go to the media screen on your display then insert the CD. Select the Record CD button when it shows up. The list of songs shows up and you can de-select any songs you don't want recorded. Then hit the Start Recording button. The screen will show the progress of the recording by which track is recording and the percentage of completion of that track.
The manual says that it will record faster (as little as 5 minutes per CD) if you're not actively listening to the CD so I normally keep the jukebox on. If you have to stop before the CD is done recording you will still have whichever songs were completed in the juke box. The system uses GraceNotes to provide artist and title names and worked on all but one of the CDs I recorded. The manual shows how to manually add the names but I haven't had the patience for that yet.
The full CDs I timed while recording took over 10 minutes each so it will take a long time to build up your library but I think it's a nice little option to have. And you can save time by just recording your own "greastest hits". The sound quality seems about the same as AM/FM and SiriusXM.
