Default defrost issue ?

This morning on the way to work the truck would not defrost the front window. I had the fan setting on high and it seemed like it was blowing out slow. It doesnt sound right either. I cleaned the snow off the front with no luck. The only time I can get it to really shoot out is if I put the setting on "recycled air" and on the vents setting which directs the air at me.
Can snow or ice get in and disrupt the air circulation? doesnt really make sense to me, Ill probably schedual a service visit this week . any comments or suggestions appreciated as always.

I have the same issue, i think its caused by the huge windshield and no heated park area!! Its the one thing i miss about my wrx and tundra both has heated wiper park areas and i never had the issues i have with frozen wipers on f150. Best fix i have found is defrost on hi heat on hot and drivers window down to cool off!!

My 2010 xtr does the same thing in a cold morning.....it starts out blowing high and as soon as I start down the road the defrost has no power behind it anymore. I hear it getting chocked off. If I Shut the truck off and restart it its fine.

This happened to me for the first time today. Had mine running on remote start for nearly 10 min. and couldn't get the front defrost to work right on my 10 min. drive to work. Anyone else have this issue and a possible cause/solution? Thanks

Sounds like a broken door or bad actuator in the HVAC housing. Mine is doing the same, will have to take it in. With Chrysler we have been having issues with actuators in the Rams, and broken doors in some other products.
