Hey everyone, has anybody installed one of the factory 12v "household" outlets in their truck similar to the I think 2011-2013 that are at the back of the console. I have an 09 and my dad has the outlet in his 2012 an I would like one just wasn't sure what went into wiring it.

Correction 110v outlet

Easiest thing would be to just get a 12v power inverter. I believe thats all they are really, its just hidden under the console.

Ya I just wanted the oem look. But I can't find the oem converters anywhere online

The inverter are in the 110 v outlet the cable are 12 v when it goes in the plug it convert 12 to 110

Just buy a plug to dealer and plug it to 12 volt and it s gonna work . That s what i did for my ipad mini in dash
