Just got mine in (43200) and tried to install. Not happening until i can get the correct washer. The one they sent had a hole waaaaaay to small for the bolt. Now how can you screw that up??
Now you send me the bolt and the washer and get get pass step 2 because the damn washer is too small. Really?

I took mine off!
My tailgate too forever to come down by itself with the Assist on. A lot of the time I had to force it down faster so I could put stuff in the truck.

the threaded ball piece pulled out of the of tailgate the first time i loaded ny ATV in the bed. other than that it was pretty awsome i have no complaints. this summer im going to try the tips as posted!!!
