I would-not take My ecoboost to My local dealer for any service of any kind.
The service manager looked for My 08 edge last time Ihad service. there were
two cars in drive. He coud'not find the Edge.
That's why I got My new ecoboost from Bob Moore Ford

Thought I'd chime in here.

Had my 22500 mile service done today at Rusty Eck Ford in Wichita, KS, which is where I bought the truck last year. Since then I had the 7500 mile service done at Crown Ford in Fayetteville, NC and my 15k service done at Sellers Sexton Ford in St Roberts, MO. My experience with all of these is a new filter was indeed installed, and every time it was a Motorcraft. Also, today I watched them pour the oil in and to my surprise, it wasn't from a large bulk tank, but from what looked like one gallon jugs. I've been happy with oil changes done at Ford so far, but the only reason I haven't done them myself is because I got the maintenance plan worked into the deal when I bought it (yeah, $500 is a lot, but it lowered my APR by .5% I think and lowered my payment by a dollar!). The last oil change I will have done at ford will be my 30k service, after that I will do my own changes in my driveway with Mobil 1 and a K&N filter...and a bonus is I can dispose of the oil at work. I just can't justify paying Ford the $40 to do it and not getting synthetic.
