Unfortunately body filler would be fixing it right. That is considered industry acceptable. If he wants a new door, he'll have to get insurance involved. No way a dealer will pay over $1000 for a"small" dent.

Why don't they try Paintless dent removal? If this dent is so small, as mentioned.

I do way prefer that they did "man-up" about it, though its not like they could have hidden it.
Good for you. It seems MORE THEN FAIR what they are willing to do. Greed leads to "Karma".

Well the headlights are both off and gone and they showed me no damage to anything else and they have all the parts on order an supposed to be here in the morning and should have truck back tomorrow already.

VERY SMART of them to let YOU SEE that there was no other damage.

They did totally take care of my rental issues. I was given a 2013 Escape through Enterprise which is a really nice vehicle.

But the important part of this meeting is they totally gave me the complimentary free 3 years of service for the truck which with the lights I am so happy over.

WOW! These guys went above and beyond.

I guess it pays to have purchased so many vehicle through them as they continue to go out of their way to keep me coming back there for life.

Will post pics of the new lights, soon I hope.
Someone said earlier that they "manned up" and took responsibility for their mistake.

What is then name/location of this dealer?
