Default Dead Pedal / Foot Rest

Since I was always looking for a comfortable position to rest my left foot I decided to add a dead pedal. I found this on eBay for about $15 including shipping. Seems to a pretty good fit it was removed from a 03 Lexus IS300. Just set it up so it hooks onto the kick panel so it doesn't move around.

not bad!

but is your shoe going to mess up the kick panel, because you know it's going to rest against it...

Good point maybe I'll put a spacer in-between the pedal and kick panel.

Exactly. If I straightened out my leg a bit it almost felt like I was pointing my toes. If that makes Any sense. This foot rest is working great for me.

Looks even with the rest of the pedals to me. Great idea Lasso. I need to prowl eBay. The generic pedals that I've come across look like garbage.

Does that pedal get in the way of your parking brake? Looks close.

Still have a few inches of clearance with parking brake fully engaged.

It looks good. But also i think out of place.

Just the aluminum cover plate makes it look like it does not belong there.

Also since you said is just tucked in there not very secured by anything. What if on an emergency it rolls around and gets under you brake or emergency brake pedal? Make sure it will not go anywhere.
