Default Dead battery.

Yep I knew this summer have 20 something days in a row with temps over 100 was going to kill it. Thankfully Ford replaced it under warranty. 2010 F150 33,xxx miles.

I doubt that killed your Batt...but it's nice that Ford hooked you up with a new one.

I have had 2 summers with almost 30 days in a row with 100* temps and mine is still going strong.

A short life for sure. Probably just a bad one and at least warranty covered it.

Like I said that's not what killed it...or Ford would have 300 people bring trucks in for the same reason.

Oh ok. I always heard that it was the heat that killed them. What ever the case y'all are right Ford made it right.

It used to be that batteries would overheat and boil over but it is not much of a problem now a days.
