That's good to know that all they have to do is a software update to enable DRLs.

They come on while in park. The headlight DRL comes on when in gear. It's really easy to test yourself at night without getting out of the truck.

On a 2013 with HID's, the dealer simply connects his laptop and modifies the program. My tech indicated there were several options which I selected amber running lights up front and low intensity tail lights. As for the right words... The service writer started telling me something about feet vehicles and Canadian law and said he did not know if it could be done but he knew the tech who would. So I guess it depends on where you go, tell him "I guess I will have to switch dealerships" Maybe that will help him to figure it out.
