You'd think with all of the computer capability on the truck and with the nav system and GPS link, that it could automatically make the DST change.

OK, I know it only takes about three touches on the screen to make the change, but still!

Because Apple hasn't made any automotive electronics, Microsoft didn't have a feature set to try and copy.

Without a date displaying how would the computer know when to change for DST? It is only a clock...

For those with a satellite radio, it would be very easy if Sirius had included time data in their software.

For those with GPS the truck could very easily make the change for them. GPS satellites use the atomic clock for signal calibration. But then again on my Garmin unit, I still have to set the time zone, so maybe I have my expectations set too high.
