Default Day one

Have read elsewhere in the forum that some people have continued to be able to receive Sirius XM after there trial subscription expires.

Mine expired yesterday and was able to still receive channels.

So far so good.

I did notice that if I try to set a memo for a song that my screen displays that my subscription has expired so we'll see how this goes.

I've had it go for a couple weeks in the past, eventually it catches up to you.

Guess I'll enjoy it while I can.
Saw a commercial the other day offering it for $30.00 for 6 months.

I wouldn't celebrate too early on it if it expired yesterday and you still have it.
They've 'turned on' all radios (including expired radios) for Memorial day weekend. They've been advertising it for a few weeks now.

Run with it while you can but don't be surprised if it is shut down on Tuesday.

I just stream music using amazon music or use pre loaded music via bluetooth.

Spotify for me. I recently turned off the Sirius button on my screen. Woohoo!

not always... I had a kenwood radio with the sirius plug in box in an old truck I had. When I sold it, i called and had the sirius turned off. That was 10yrs ago. 5 yrs ago i installed the radio in my father in laws truck and it was still activated. Still is to this day.

Pretty much. Mine expired on May 15th, so I was surprised when I switched over to Sirius last weekend and still had service. Then I heard the commercial for the May "freeview."

If you'll try some of the channels (like Jeff and Larry's Comedy channel), you'll probably get a "CHANNEL NOT SUBSCRIBED" message on the screen--at least, I did.

Wanted to add... for those that may not have dealt with Sirius/XM in the past. They will often continue to provide service to a radio after the subscription has expired... If you chose to later call and subscribe it they will try to back-charge you at full rate for the days in between. Note i said 'Try'. It is easy to talk them out of it but ensure you do. They've, in the past, been less than transparent in how they deal with this.
My recommendation: If you chose to subscribe... always pay the extra $5 to have them send you a paper bill and pay it with a check/money-order. Prevents them from Auto-billing a credit card.
