Default dash vent removal??

Trying to take my dash vents out to swap the passenger side with the drivers side, because the passenger side is broke and people wont quit playing with it. anyways, i cant get it out basically.. i looked at several related questions and everybody is just saying "yea just reach in there and yank on it real good". people, this d*** vent will not come out, seriously. is there another trick to it, or am i doing something wrong, or what? the only other option i know is to put on some small gloves that might get me better grip, idk. any thoughts??

Just pull hard. I've removed mine several times. Some come out easily, others are tough as hell, but they will pop out.

Get a metal ruler and whack whoever's messing with it.

Similar fix to kids screwing around in the back seat.

not to hijack this, but does anyone know if the vents from a superduty will fit in these f150?

just wondering if they are the same diameter?

wow, i wish mine came out that easy. dang. im grabbing the inside walls of the vent, he actually grabs the vent flap itself it looks like. seems that it would break it, they are not exactally tough.I'll play with it a bit more this evening. and X2 on the ruler, for sure, especially people sitting there flicking that passenger side dash power plug cover back and forth lol

I've found that pulling-over and leaving the offender(s) on the roadside is a deterrent. There are no repeats and the other passengers witnessing the consequences learn an invaluable lesson.
