And if I go to a 13 BCM my 2011 gauge cluster will still work? I'm starting to think this was a mistake... haha.

So I finally got forscan up and running and when plugged in it only finds the PCM, no BCM or anything else. What do I do now?

Thanks, I hope I can get this figured out as well. The truck has just been sitting for months now waiting for a solution. If the HVAC wasn't stuck on hot I would drive it more but in the summer it sucks. Well and the 13mpg is hard to deal with when I get e 2017 f150 for free with free gas...

 

pm me i did this in my 2012 and can talk you through it, if you used the 2013 dash with wiring harness you HAVE to use a 2013/14 cluster to get the radio to work, you will also need a BCM from a 2013/14 to get the HVAC to work as the module is remote in 2013/14
