Dash center stack swap?
Found a wrecked 2013 Limited and would like to swap out the entire center stack for the new Sync version and better aesthetics of the controls. I currently have a 2011 Platinum and before I spend $xxx on the parts, I’d like to know if this possible. Yes I have searched the forums but haven’t found anything specific for this.
I have full access to both trucks so any wiring harnesses, brackets, clips, etc will be obtainable.

SYNC 2 was pretty bad, definitely not worth paying any amount of money to install it.

Harnesses changed for 2013 so nothing will plug right in, you'll have to swap the whole dash harness.

If you wanted to do all of that, and THEN upgrade the SYNC 2 system to SYNC 3, you'd have an acceptable system, as SYNC 3 is solid and has lasted a good 6 years now.
