I'm looking for some custom tunes and I've seen alot of different preferences. Just wanna get input as to what tunes everyone's running and how affective they are.

 

Ohhhh man, you're about to open a can of worms. I have Unleashed and SSinc tunes. Unleashed are very nice tunes and shift patterns....SSinc makes more power and really fast throttle tip-in which I love.

My favorites are my SSinc tunes. But I would also recommend Unleashed to anyone. Depends on what you are wanting...Shawn makes a better tow tune than Torrie IMHO.

Main thing is I AM A SCT believer. I personally have never ran LMS tunes but a lot of guys like em'.....I prefer to see what "My" truck is doing if I'm paying for a "true" CUSTOM tune.

 

Yes, Huge can of worms, but lets go with it. First off (and maybe I missed it) what engine do you have? Eco or 5.0? Are you looking for power, towing, mileage? Give us an idea there and i'm sure you will get a lot of good info from this forum.

 

Or more importantly... the 6.2? lol

It's a 5.0 though, based on past posts.

I am running 5 star but wouldn't mind trying others.

 

Is unleashed the brand or or type?

 

We use 5 star tuning for all of our F150 custom tuning. We also offer a Lifetime tunes program. We have been very happy with 5 stars tuning. I run it on my 5.0L FX4. If you guys want I can post dyno graphs from some of our recent testing of tunes, intakes and throttle bodies on the 5.0l F150s.
