Default Cruise Control

Anyone had an issue where the cruise control is on but may just suddenly go off. I've had this 3 times now on different occasions mostly on a slight grade.

Thanks

The only thing I can think of is, a friend of mine has a habit of resting her left foot on the brake. A few times when we were going somewhere, the cruise control disengaged. The first time it happened, I didn't notice her left foot but after the second time it happened, she didn't realize she was putting a little to much pressure on the brake, causing the cruise to shut disengage.

I can always tell when someone is a left footer when I'm driving behind them. Their brake lights is always on.

if the speed of the truck drops lower than 5mph I think the Cruise will auto shut off, to prevent over shifting. Thats what the manual says, seriously people read the manual. I cant remember exactly what speed it is but it will shut off if the truck slows down too much going over a hill. READ THE MANUAL. If your not going over a hill then I dont know, but you said "slight grade"

This may be what is happening to you. Otherwise, I have no idea, I use mine every day and have never had that happen.
