Crate Engine Questions
I purchased a 2011 F150 Super Crew Cab XLT with a 5.0 3 years ago. I didn’t realize the vehicle came with a crate engine it. In fact, someone helped me decode the label on the engine see below.
Bottom row of the decal:
E1521=Essex Engine Plant
190214= February 14, 2019
0367= Sequence (yours is engine #367 off the line)
This is straight from the 2014 FSM for the 5.0, Section 303-01C
I replaced AC and drive belt and for some reason the numbers that came off the existing belts were for a 2018 5.0 engine instead of the 2011 5.0 engine. Why would the belts be different? What else could I expect to be different when ordering parts? Is it a 2018 or a 2011 engine?

In your last thread, we decided the date code is DDMMYY, not YYMMDD.

So your engine wasn't Feb 14, 2019, it was Feb 19, 2014.
Indeed, if you reference the FSM section the original poster mentioned, you'll see it's DDMMYY:

The early Coyotes had a stretch-to-fit A/C compressor belt, later ones went to a more normal idler/tensioner setup. The drive belt routings look the same on the tensioner-style early Coyotes and the 2018, so I'm not sure what the part number difference would be, but there is a different belt spec'd for both the A/C compressor and other accessories between years.
