Green Gem,

Have you, at a minimum purchased an AC recharge kit from Autozone, CSK, O'Reilly's, etc....Just to give it a try? Most of the newer ones have a gauge. IF the three potential problems are low freon, bad sensor, or leak, why not give it a try? They average less than $25 (USD). I would do some of my own mechanical troubleshooting.

Honestly, I dont understand the warranty issues who are having, both of my trucks went in for minor warranty work and were taken care of on the same day.

That being said, my truck(with 30%) tint sits in a parking lot in the south florida sun for about 8 hours and usually takes about 5 minutes of so of AUTO and Recirculation function with temp to "LO". I have the automatic AC and AC seats.

You are very lucky: you have a good dealer and apparently a good truck! I wont touch mine for fear they will void my warranty.

It'll be even better if I can added in condenser fan state, evap RTD values, HVAC pressure sensors.

Maybe Ford shouldn't want some us really digging into this?
kulak,

It would be great to see that kind of date, but I would assume that it would have to be collected from more than one truck for comparison. I also assume that one would need a climate control system for a data logger to work. Am I correct?

All I really know about Ford is that they and their dealers are doing squat to fix this problem.

I use two dealers for service, one of the service writers has known me since I was in second grade, the other service writer has been around for 30 years.

I use one dealer for sales, all I have to do tell him what I want, the rest is easy.

Hello Edward,

My name is Phoebe, I am from Ford`s Customer Relationship Center(CRC). I have reviewed your email inquiring about the ownershipinformation of Joe Myers Ford.

With regard on your request, unfortunately we are unable toprovide that information. Ford dealerships are independently owned andoperated. Your concern will be bestaddressed by people in a supervisory role within the dealership.

Iwould like to review this matter for you, please provide me a brief clarificationof how you would like Ford Motor Company to assist you.

Thank you for contacting FordMotor Company.

digitaltrucker,

You are dealing with a call centre and getting the same canned comment crap that I got. Send a registered letter to the President/CEO of Ford and go from there. NONE OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE HAVE ANY POWER. I'VE JUST WASTED TWO OR THREE MONTHS WASTING MY TIME WITH THEM. I'VE ALSO BLOWN OUR SUMMER HOLIDAY PLANS OVER ISSUES WITH THIS TRUCK.

Take Care

I've paid for an independent shop to evacuate and recharge my system, it did not make a degree of difference. My guess is that cycle times are most likely the issue.
