Default Covering leather

Anyone put seat covers over the leather? Anything you did prior to covering them? I'm pulling the trigger on Wet Okoles this week, and just used Meguire's leather conditioner on all my seats. Just wondering your experiences with putting seat covers over leather.

Just FYI: from wet okole's product care information sheet: capital letters are their's.

DO NOT CONDITION LEATHER prior to installing seat covers-Leather Conditioner
is a petroleum based product and may cause a chemical reaction with Neoprene.

again, of what its worth, I have covered all my vehicles with wet okole, they are fantastic. I ordered an XLT to avoid leather, my opinion only.

Haha, figures. By the time the seat covers get here, I don't think that will be an issue. I am pretty indifferent when it comes to leather/cloth, I enjoy using my truck as a truck, and don't want to have to worry about throwing my stuff on the seats or my dog climbing in the backseat.

I also have Wet Okole covers. They are nice but expensive. Not yet 2 years old and the drivers side seat is wearing out. Next truck I will go neoprene covers again since I ride my jet ski a in the summer. Just not Wet Okole.

I jet ski and have leather, water doesn't seem to be an issue with leather, but I throw a towel down anyway.

Good to know. I am thinking leather in the next truck but was worried about the water issue.
