Hey guys I have a 2014 Oxford white f150 5.0 with 18" rims I want to level it and I ink I'm going to go with the 2.5" front 3" rear block autospring kit ....so I need to get some tires to fill the gap don't want the tires looking to small .

Now my goal is to get a good all year round tire bit agressive looking with nice side wall grips I just need it to be good in sow as well...I'd really like to go with 34s but there hard to find

I was thinking if I can do 34s on my stock rims untill income tax comes and I buy my new rims I can just swap over the tires to the new rims

Any pics of info would be greatly appreciated I know there's tons of threads on levels and tires but most I find is 20" rims and there aftermarkets

I'd like to get some people's opinions on this that actually have a setup the same as I list

The DuraTracs would be my suggestion if you do snow, however 18" tire sizes are pretty limited under 35" tall. If you had 20s I would suggest a 275/65R20 but I think you would be happy with a 275/70R18

There are several 18" sizes that might have the height you want but those oddball sizes generally cost exorbitantlyq more money. The sizes I gave you are OE on 3/4-1ton trucks so there will always be something in stock at your tire dealer if you needed something in a pinch.

 

that's the same level/block combo I've put on my last 2 trucks and ~34" is definitely a good size. my last truck had 275/65r20 Toyo open country at 2s and the current one is 285/65r20 bfgoodrich t/a ko. they're both great, versatile tires, but I do prefer the Toyo.

 

i would not go more than 2" AS if i were you. just installed 1.5" AS on my 2013 Screw 4wd and gained over 2"s. talked to AS on phone and there is a difference between the 09-13 from the 2014s, they think when i ordered it off ebay they sent 2014 for mine. others on here have stated they got 2" to a hair over. mine actually netted right at 2.25" after alighnment. AS sells the 2.5" but don't reccomend it, make them because people ask for them. my truck now sits 1/4" higher in the front, probably add an AAL from AS with only 1" of lift added to the rear. my son-n-law put the 2.5" and 305 BFG's on his Lariat and it rides like ****. soon as his tires wear out he is taking off the level and go back to P Metric tires.

 

I have had the 2.5 on two trucks now and it rides just fine.

 

Hey thanks for the replies I wasn't sure if I should go 2 or 2.5 " I still have to measure the wheel wells, I'd like to run as big as I can on the stock rim untill I can get a new set of after markets , I just thought if I did the 2" front and 3" rear block I'd still have way to much rake

Also I'm considering the 295/70/18 nitto trail grappler or 295/65/18 duratrac and possible the 285/70 duratrac if I can find them in 18 "

So is there anyone with some pictures of the level combo I asked about with 33,34, or 35s I know I will need a new rim for the 35s I just don't want to deal with any rubbing but I know it may happen I've been reading and searching and looking for combos but I'm just having a hard time deciding exactly what I want and what I need.

I'm located in Canada so some options cost more for me here

Here is my truck it's not exactly what you're looking for, but I have a 2" front level only with 295/70r18 trail grapplers. They fit perfectly with no rubbing, and look perfect for the amount of lift imo.

 

2014 F150 XLT 302A pkg with 5.0 and 3:55s. 2" Auto Spring leveling kit which is a little nose high. 275/65r20s put on today. Toyo AT2 10 ply just over 34" in diameter. 2" leveling kit has the control arms and cv joints in as much of an angle as I want to live with! A 1.5" would've have been perfect.
