If you wanted a bench seat and column shift then why did you buy a truck with buckets and console

basically, you need the shifting lever, linkage, the upper and lower shrouds, the shifter bracket, tools to tap the column and thread it to hold the bracket,

the seat, the brackets under the seat, bolts, and, drumroll, new carpet because it is cut out for the console. last time i replaced carpet in a vehicle, it was in an 08 SD, and it cost like 800-900$ discounted. i threw the idea away at that point

some of you guys have issues with comprehension.

when i bought the truck, i got what i wanted. what i wanted later changed, but i did not want to have to buy another truck, so i figured id look into changing what i had.

not to mention the fact that FX4 is not available with anything but a console, buckets, and floor shifter

I wouldn't even consider doing this. It would be a lot easier to just trade it in.
