found a flow through console for a good price, got it installed the other evening. wasn't too bad. re used the bracket and bolts that came with my jump seat, unbolted and slid around the drivers and passengers seats so i could drill new holes in the frame. went a bit smaller than the factory jump seat screw/bolts and ran them home into the new holes with my 3/8ths impact. all in it took about 2 hours to do. and the lower cupholder insert from the jump seat fits almost perfect into the shifter hole for 4 cupholders. working on the trim pieces next...maybe lol
next project for sure is re-routing the factory lower 12v plug. or just trimming the console to gain access.

Looks good. Im working on a similar swap. But running into a lot of issues. My first major hurdle is the Sony Sound system that come with the truck. One of the amplifiers was installed under the jam seat. When I place the center console there, the amplifier and the vent duct that comes with the console, seem to want to occupy the same space. Have you made any progress on you conversion?

I had my center console out this past weekend, and saw that there is a Sony amp underneath it (right below the shifter + drink holders).
Thank you Siber Express. I've been all over fords part site trying to find that out, but I have not been able to track that down. Do you know if there is a another bracket I need and harness to move it? I still have to find out what I have to change on my heater to get it connected. there is not connection under the dash for the flow through vent connections. But one thing at a time.

I do have that bracket. it is to mount the console firmly to the floor in the front. I have read that many guys didnt even use it. Thanks for helping me clear some things up. I appreciate it. It gives me a place to start.
