Had the jumpseat in my 2012. It was okay, but limited storage. My 2013 has the console and I find it much better for my purposes. Loving the console shifter too.

But I really like all the seating choices Ford offers. There is something for everyone!

the jumpseat isn't all bad, I just hated the ridiculously small storage area in it.. I practically live in my truck, I want room to store my snacks, gloves, change of clothes, etc. which is why I made a custom raptor console which I need to finish and paint..

Anyone recognize the front section?

TKO, great work man, console looks great!
love the console and shifter in my truck. Just seems like a classier layout to me. But... I find the armrest too low to drive comfortably with both hands gripping the bottom of the wheel. I find the jump seat offers a better driving g position, better suited for long trips. I am planning to build a raised armrest on my console, but can't go to high or I won't be able to shift properly.

Isn't the front section the rear seat flip down beverage holder?

Yes, but it also has a storage unit in that part, and another under the seat.

yeaaap I tried to use the sliding drawer style cup holder from the jumpseat but I had some clearance issues that would have had me rebuilding the whole damn console.. so I just went this route. I actually used my 4 cup holders often on my jumpseat, so I wanted to make sure I had them on this console as well.
