After reading a recent post, I decided to post this poll. So what do most prefer, the center console, or the jump seat?

 

The whole reason I went with the XLT and not FX or Lariate is for the jumper seat. I need the extra seat. I just wish I could have got a FX with one.

 

The opposite for me. I wish I had went with a console, but am stuck with the seat.

 

bench seat... better for a dog to put his front paws on and much more room for elbows and writing on...

 

My old silverado had the jump seat which was great for when I needed to take my parents out along with my wife and two munchkins, but that was rare. I like the ability to have a massive amount of storage in my truck.

 

Jump seat for me. I just prefer my trucks that way.

 

Having a console was number one on my list when I was looking for a truck a month ago. Having the center mounted shifter with the FX was an add bonus.

 

Console. I got the STX so had to get mine second hand. Luckily got a fair deal for one on the forums here. Still need to install but going to put leds in mine first before I swap it in

 

Console...but I wish I had the console shifter instead of it being on the column.

 

Console for sure. I bought my '13 STX with the intention of swapping the jump seat for a console. I have a regular cab, and don't want someone jammed up against me.

I'm glad though that I don't have the console shifter. That is a feature for a car in my opinion, not a truck. A truck is supposed to have a column shifter or a manual. Save the console shifters for the Camrys of the world.
