I purchased my 2012 F-150 FX2 with EcoBoost Engine as a demostrator vehicle with 3,700 mi on it in March 2012. When I reached 4,800 mi in May, I started having issues with the truck not properly shifting. At first it would get stuck in 1st gear and would have to be stopped and restarted to fix issue. Then truck started to automatically shift into 5th gear while stopped for a light or stop sign (picture attached as proof) and would not come out. I had to return to service department twice for same issue. First time PCM was reprogrammed. Second time service department turned issue over to Ford engineering for resolution. Ford engineering determined likely cause to be a faulty PCM and a new PCM was ordered on 06/05/2012. After the truck sitting at the service department out-of-service for 30+ days and counting, and no estimated availability date for new PCM, I have had to enact my Lemon Law rights to get the issue resolved. Currently awaiting responce from Ford for Lemon Law...
