I have the very basic dash and also no LCD cluster screen. I have had my 3.7 for about three years now and have yet to find the compass. I know there must be one somewhere because on my fiancé's 2013 Mustang she has the same setup on the dash where it displays the radio channels and that's where her compass displays. I've read countless threads and have yet to find something on this. I asked her how she got her compass to display but of course she doesn't know lol.

 

give us some info on your truck... year, model... options..

my guess is you have an XL with next to no options, I could be wrong, but I think that's the only way you don't end up with the little display up above the radio with the compass and ext. temp.

 

I think you have to purchase it . I remember reading that it is in the headliner and it just plugs right in . Its a wire . I think it was a 100 or 80 dollars

 

My 14' stx has the temp above the radio but no compass.

 

My 14 STX sport has temp and compass

 

I have an STX. And I do have the temperature display up on the radio. Mines a 2013.
