Climate control
I just bought this 2013 FX4, beauty of a ride. I'm impressed so far except for one thing. After setting the dual climate control for personal comfort ... say 22 Celsius, the cabin is comfortable until the climate control somehow opens up a cold air vent on the drivers side. The passenger side seems to operate just fine and remains comfortable, on the other hand, or should I say foot as that is where the cold hits first, the cold air just keeps pouring in until I have to readjust the temperature up. After things warm up once again and then once again the cold air will come rushing in until the temperature is adjusted. This turns into a never ending cycle of hot and cold, a proverbial battle with the weather on a a small scale. If anyone has a clue as what to do about this, please let me know. Thanks
Hi Lostairman, I also have a 2013 FX4, however I have not noticed this behavior. I am in Wisconsin, so definitely running the heat. If anything with my truck the heater vent in the floor is a bit too close to the right foot, frequently leading me to turn the heat down simply because my foot is roasting.
I am unsure what could be causing the issue that you mention.
