Having seen some pictures of black trucks with the black tail lights instead of chrome, I might consider changing them over. What is involved and what is the cost?. Also would these black tail light assemblies be from Ford only or are there aftermarket ones.

Some of us got the Harley Davidson tail lights for Ford dealers, like Tasca etc for about $80 each. I then sold my originals, for less of course than the new ones, but it made me feel a little less whacked.

can you post the pictures of your truck with the Harley one's on please. Griz, so those are just cover's and not actual replacements?

 

They appear to be just covers. $84, I think I am in the wrong business.

The HD headlights are $192 each from Tasca (AL3Z-13008-AB and AL3Z-13008-AA). The taillights are something like $120 total (prices are different for left and right) and I'm not sure what the correct current part numbers are.

 

Thanks. Wow the headlight ones are quite expensive compared to the tail lights.
Would be great to find a dealer that would take them both in trade to help soften the blow as johnwill said.
