Default Chrome or black side steps

I have a tuxedo black Supercrew. I need to add side steps and I am not sure I want to go with chrome or black.

Does anyone have pictures of their set up? I am leaning toward the black, but I am not 100% sold.

Thanks

Depends on the truck. If there isn't any chrome on it I would say black. If you do have chrome I would lean toward the chrome side steps to accent the chrome every where else.

^^^X2 There is another option if you're trying to tone it down besides black. Plasti Dip comes in a clear, that when sprayed on chrome, looks a lot like brushed aluminum or stainless. Don't know how you feel about that though.

Funny, you can usually tell what generation by the response. I say chrome makes everything look good. I might be in the minority but that is good as my truck will look different from all the plastic dipped trucks out there.

OP, it is really up to you. Why do you care what we think when you have to look at it everyday. Just sayin'

I have had both kinds of trucks. I love the monochromatic fx2 and fx4s. My current truck is monochromatic fx2 my 2006 was all chromed out. I really want a 2015 lariat all chromed out. I could go either way. I'm just saying if you have a truck with chrome on stick with the chrome. If you have a monochromatic truck go with the black side steps.
