Hello all,


I started my truck today to see my check engine light glaring at me! I got the code checked and its related to the power steering circuit. My question(s) are

A. Has this happened to anybody else?

B. Will this fall under my 60,000 mile warranty?

Also the truck is a 2010 F-150 STX 4x4 with the 4.6L 3V.

id say its a toss up...generally steering systems fall under the 3/36 warrenty but if the CEL came on because of a fault in the system maybe it will fall under the 5/60

 

I really hope so, my truck just turned over 39,000 miles. Lol

I bought it "certified pre-owned" I actually traded my 2011 Ranger Sport 4x4 for it. Long story short I'm the second owner it had 31,xxx miles.

 

mine was CPO as well...only way to buy a vehicle these days IMO ...im the second owner of mine as well...had 23,5XX miles when i got it

 

Looks like you keep a clean rig, I bet that Tuxedo Black is great when it's clean.

 

its not tuxedo...just straight black
