Looking to do a center console conversion on my 11 lariat. I currently have the jump seat. I want to keep my column shifter but don't want a big ugly hole from the console shifter. I like how the 15+ has 4 cup holders. Has anyone done this conversion and modded the console to have 4 cup holders. thanks in advance for any help

I did it on my old 14 you can get a console without any shifter hole. Keep in mind that the bolt holes for the console don't line up with the holes for the jump seat so you are either going to have to drill and tap them or get the mounting bracket along with the console and swap that out to. Since it's 09-14 yours should be the same. Lots of people have done it and there are numerous threads on it. A search should bring them up. Also mine was a base xl so there was no power plug for the console so depending on your truck you may have to run power if you are wanting that option. If you are talking about the full console mod that's been done too. you need all the trim pieces and there are inserts I believe for the console shifter available. Again a quick search will bring up numerous threads.

 

thanks for the info. I'm actually wanting to add the full length console to get the rear vents and I like the look better but I don't want a big hole from where the shifter was. I'm hoping someone has done a full size and has added additional cup holders to it to get ride of the hole left by the shifter. I have done all kinds of research but can't find any results with adding additional cup holders to the console. It may be impossible to do I'm not really sure

There are plenty of non jump seat console sets on Ebay with no console shifter from trucks that had column shifter. Run about $1300 each.
